If I were to believe any of the hype that anybody might write or believe or let any of the compliments go to my head, then I'm in dangerous territory. So as long as I stay in prayer and connected to my faith, it allows me the vehicle to be able to stay surrendered to God.

My willingness to talk about my faith has not diminished anything. It's only improved everything.

As a believer and somebody who practices the faith, it's been at times intimidating to try to put myself into the mind, or at least the sandals of Christ, and to try to bring some sort of spiritual authenticity or some semblance of an authenticity that people recognize as, yes, that makes sense for the character of Christ in this TV show.

Most of what I do throughout the day is more like a running dialogue with God. I bring my challenges to Him, listen for guidance, and try to feel where the Spirit is leading me.

When you earnestly seek God, He meets you where you are.

I think when Jesus felt the pressure of life, of human life, often He would go off on His own to pray and get recharged and just find quiet time. I do this. I find that doing the same thing - going off to pray by myself and just spend time with God in prayer alone - is monumentally impactful to me.
